Flight attendants at the Czech national carrier CSA will go on a three-day strike over low pay.

The cabin crew union says the strike begins Wednesday. It did not say, however, how many flight attendants are expected to participate in the strike and how many flights will be affected.

CSA said in a statement Monday that it considers the strike illegal and is taking measures to prevent flight cancellations. Details of the plan were not given.

UPDATE:Court: ČSA flight attendants’ strike unlawful

The strike planned by Czech Airlines’ (ČSA) flight attendants for Aug 26–28 is unlawful, the Prague City Court said today to explain its preliminary injunction by which it halted the strike.

The three-day strike of national air carrier Czech Airlines' (ČSA) flight attendants will most likely be postponed from the originally planned date of Aug 26–28 due to a court injunction, Tereza Löffelmannová of flight attendants' trade union OOPL said on the public broadcaster Czech Television (ČT) last night.
