Delays are expected at airports around the country as Immigration and Border Protection staff strike over pay and conditions.
The strikes, which include Border Force employees, began at international airports in Cairns, Perth and Darwin on Wednesday and will continue until Friday.
The four-hour work stoppages have been taking place in the early mornings and evenings.
Another round of walk-offs is scheduled in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane from Monday. Times for next week's strikes have not yet been set.
